5. Analysis of the reasons why the gas meter becomes faster or slower

Here we only discuss the mechanical reasons of the gas meter, not the gas consumption with different calorific values of natural gas, oil-based gas and liquefied petroleum gas.

The transmission components of the gas meter with good manufacturing technology are wear-resistant, the internal structure is stable, the operation is small, and the internal gas distribution valve is evenly run-in. Over time, the air tightness will become better and better, and the metering accuracy of the gas meter will be stable and accurate.

The surface air distribution valve with poor craftsmanship will tend to wear, causing the air tightness to become worse and worse, the internal film may also be damaged, and the gear teeth may slip. Or the self-lubricating performance of the valve is not good enough, and the resistance will increase over time, causing the watch to "slow down". It may slow down by dozens of percent or not move at all. The cleanliness of the gas also affects the accuracy of the meter. If the gas is not too clean and causes scaling in the meter metering chamber, the gas meter may become faster. 6. Summary
