Volumetric Water Meter Introduction

A volumetric water meter is an instrument that measures the number of times a specific fixed volume water chamber is filled and discharged by water flow to achieve cumulative measurement of the amount of water flowing through.

Its core working principle is to use the power of water flow to drive the internal volumetric mechanism (such as water wheel, piston, etc.) to operate. Each time a "fill-discharge" cycle is completed, it corresponds to a fixed amount of water. The number of cycles is then recorded by the counting mechanism to finally complete the measurement of the total amount of water. ​

This water meter has many excellent performance characteristics:​

The counter can rotate 360° in the same plane, and the operation is flexible and convenient;​

It has high sensitivity and can accurately measure even at a low flow rate of 4 liters/hour;​

The installation position is not restricted, whether it is horizontal, vertical or inclined, it will not affect the measurement accuracy;​

The moving parts are made of high-quality materials, with stable and reliable performance, and can maintain a clear measurement state for a long time;​

It measures the actual volume of fluid passing through the water meter, and the measurement result is more accurate.​

In terms of usage conditions, the water meter requires a water pressure of no more than 1.0MPa; the applicable water temperature for cold water meters is no more than 30℃, and the applicable water temperature for hot water meters is no more than 90℃. ​

Regarding the error range, it is as follows: ​

Low zone: the flow discharge volume between the minimum flow (Q1) and the boundary flow (Q2) (excluding Q2), the maximum allowable error is ±5%; ​

High zone: the flow discharge volume between the boundary flow (Q2) (including Q2) and the overload flow (Q4), the maximum allowable error is ±2%.
