The difference between large-diameter water meters and small-diameter water meters
There are many differences between large-diameter water meters and small-diameter water meters, as follows:
1.Diameter size: Large-diameter water meters and small-diameter water meters are mainly divided according to the nominal diameter (DN), usually with DN50 as the boundary, DN50 and below are small-diameter, and DN65 and above are large-diameter.

2.Application scenarios: Large-diameter water meters are mainly used in industrial enterprises, large buildings (such as office buildings, hotels), municipal water supply, farmland irrigation, pipe network monitoring and other scenarios, and are used for metering in trunk pipelines or high-flow areas; small-diameter water meters are mainly used in households, small commercial places (such as small shops, small office buildings) or low-flow scenarios, such as household metering of water meter end users.

3.Structural design: Large-diameter water meters usually use flange connections, which are more complex in structure and heavier in weight, requiring professional equipment and skills for installation and maintenance; small-diameter water meters mostly use threaded interfaces, which are relatively simple in structure, lighter in weight, and easier to install.

4. Measurement range and accuracy: Large-diameter water meters are suitable for scenarios with large flow fluctuations. Their measurement range is usually wider, but the accuracy may be relatively low; small-diameter water meters are suitable for scenarios with a smaller flow variation range, and their accuracy is usually higher.
