Reasons and Solutions for Gas Meter Not Supplying Gas
I. Gas Cut Off Due to Non-Payment
Reason: Insufficient balance in the gas meter or failure to pay on time, resulting in the system automatically cutting off the gas supply.
Solution: Recharge and pay through the smart energy management system or offline service points. After payment, press and hold the red button on the gas meter for about 5 seconds, wait 1-2 minutes, then briefly press the button to open the valve and restore the gas supply.

II. Low Battery Power
Reason: The gas meter battery is depleted, causing the valve to close.
Solution: Open the gas meter battery compartment and replace the four AA alkaline batteries, paying attention to the positive and negative terminals. After replacing the batteries, press and hold the gas meter button for about 5 seconds. Once you hear a "beep" sound or the screen displays normally, you can open the valve and restore the gas supply.

III. Automatic Valve Closure Due to Prolonged Non-Use
Reason: Some smart gas meters, for safety reasons, will automatically trigger a valve closure if there is no gas usage record for 7 or 30 consecutive days (regulations vary in different regions).
Solution: Confirm that the gas meter battery is charged and the payment is up to date. Briefly press the red function button on the gas meter to open the valve, or restart the meter according to the gas meter's operating instructions.
IV. Gas Valve Closed
Reason: The main gas valve, stopcock valve, or gas self-closing valve is in the closed position.
Solution: Check if the main gas valve and stopcock valve are open (the valve is parallel to the pipe when open); if the gas self-closing valve knob is retracted, gently pull the outer ring of the knob outwards to make the knob pop out and reset, thus restoring the gas supply.

V. Gas Meter Malfunction or Communication Problem
Reason: Internal gas meter malfunction, abnormal communication module, or network delay may lead to gas outage.
Solution: Try pressing and holding the gas meter button for 5-10 seconds to force a restart; if the problem persists, contact the gas company's customer service to arrange for professional inspection and repair.
