Nigerian clients visited Zhongyi Intelligent to discuss OEM/ODM customization of smart metering instruments and solutions for the Nigerian market
Recently, clients from Nigeria visited our company for an inspection tour. Our business and technical teams accompanied and hosted the delegation, and both sides engaged in in-depth discussions regarding smart gas meters, smart water meters, smart electricity meters, project implementation, technical solutions, and overseas market demand.
The delegation toured the company’s SMT, water meter, electricity meter, and gas meter production facilities. On the production floor, we provided a detailed introduction to the manufacturing processes, product quality control systems, and the operation of automated production equipment, while demonstrating the meter production procedures on-site. The clients commended the company’s standardized and meticulous production management capabilities.
In the assembly line workshop, the clients observed several core products—including smart gas meters and remote-read water meters—up close, gaining insight into the products’ hardware solutions, communication modules, metering performance, certification qualifications, and customized solutions tailored to the African market.During the discussion session, both parties engaged in thorough communication on key issues such as the local gas supply environment in Nigeria, metering standards, project procurement, OEM/ODM customization, and after-sales support. They exchanged views on specific requirements and reached a preliminary consensus on the direction of future project collaboration.
This visit further deepened mutual trust between the two parties and laid a solid foundation for future meter project cooperation in Nigeria and the West African region.
