Interpretation of water meter nameplate parameters

There are many parameters on the water meter nameplate. Here we take Wuxi Zhongyi Intelligent Ultrasonic Non-valve Water Meter as an example to explain some common ones:

1: Meter ID, a unique "ID" for each meter, used to distinguish different meters.

2: The meter uses LoRaWAN communication.

3: Meter model.

4: The diameter of the meter's inlet and outlet is 25mm.

5: The meter's operating water temperature is 0.1°C to 50°C.

6: The meter's stable flow rate under normal conditions is 6.3 cubic meters per hour.

7: Meter range, indicating that the maximum flow rate the meter can accurately measure is 250 times the minimum flow rate.

8: Meter pressure drop, indicating the pressure drop generated by water flowing through the meter is 40kPa.

9: The meter's maximum allowable operating pressure is 1.6MPa.

10: The meter's water and dust resistance rating is IP68.

11: The resistance of water flowing through the water meter and the sensitivity of the water flow. U10 means that the water pipe length required for the upstream water inlet is 10 times the diameter of the water meter, while D5 means that the water pipe length required for the downstream water outlet is 5 times the diameter of the water meter.
