Gas meter installation precautions

Improper installation environment of gas meter will greatly reduce its service life, so pay attention to the following aspects during installation:

1. Gas meter with wireless communication should not be placed in a closed environment, which will affect the signal quality;

2. When installing the gas meter, it is necessary to do a good job of leak prevention, and add a sealing ring or leak-proof tape to the pipe port;

3. The gas meter should be installed in a dry, well-ventilated place with a room temperature not lower than 5℃, which is convenient for meter checking and maintenance.

4. It is strictly forbidden to install the gas meter in the bedroom, bathroom, boiler room, and where flammable items and dangerous goods are stored.

5. Users of public buildings should try to set the gas meter in a separate room.
