Electricity Meter Types and Wiring Methods
I. Single-Phase Electricity Meters
Single-Phase Direct: This is the simplest type of meter wiring, but it is also divided into jump-in and parallel-in. Opening the meter's junction box reveals four terminals: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Jump-in: 1 is the incoming live wire, 2 is the incoming neutral wire, 3 is the outgoing live wire, and 4 is the outgoing neutral wire.

Bypass: 1 is the incoming live wire, 2 is the outgoing live wire, 3 is the incoming neutral wire, and 4 is the outgoing neutral wire.

Single-phase Mutual Inductor Type:
With a connector: The live wire is connected to transformer K1 and connected in parallel to the meter's input terminal 1. K1 is then connected in parallel to the live wire wrapped around the transformer's connection. K2 is connected to the neutral wire input terminal 3, and the neutral wire output terminal 4.
Without a connector: K1 is connected to meter terminal 1, K2 to meter terminal 3, the live wire is connected to terminal 2, the neutral wire to terminal 4, and the live wire is wrapped around the transformer output terminal to the load.

II. Three-phase Meter
Three-phase, four-wire direct-entry type: The meter has seven terminals: three live wire input terminals (1, 3, and 5), three live wire output terminals (2, 4, and 6), and one neutral terminal (7).

Three-phase Mutual Inductor Type: When the metering load is large and the direct-entry method cannot meet the requirements, a mutual inductor method is required. The specific wiring configuration is as follows: Connect terminals 1, 4, and 7 to the S1 terminals of the A, B, and C transformers, respectively; connect terminals 3, 6, and 9 to the S2 terminals of the A, B, and C transformers, respectively; and connect terminals 2, 5, and 8 to the A, B, and C power supplies, respectively. Pass the A, B, and C power supply cables through the center of the transformers, and connect the S2 terminals of all three transformers to ground.

For more detailed wiring diagrams or operating instructions, it is recommended to consult a professional electrician or refer to the meter's manual.
