Electricity Meter Time Calibration Methods
1. Local Manual Calibration
Applicable: Basic meters without communication modules
Steps:
Press and hold the "SET" button (admin access required)
Adjust time using ▲/▼ keys
Confirm and exit setup mode
*Note: Some models require physical key combinations (e.g., 3-button long press)*
2.Infrared/USB Calibration
Tools Required:
-IR handheld calibrator or USB-to-IR adapter
-Calibration software (e.g., *DL/T645 Protocol Debug Tool*)
Procedure:
a.Connect to the meter's IR interface (align with receiver window)
b.Send time sync command (Example: AA AA AA AA 68 11 04 33 33 34 33 16)
c.Verify clock error via software (±2s tolerance)

3. LoRaWAN/NB-IoT Remote Calibration
Precision:
Class B Beacon: ±1s
Class A Polling: ±5s
Forced Downlink: ±0.1s (with ACK)
4. GPS/BeiDou Synchronization
Requirements:
-Built-in GNSS module
-Automatic μs-level synchronization (common for substation meters)
