Over long-term use, wall-mounted ultrasonic gas meters may experience various malfunctions due to factors such as the operating environment and component wear, which cannot be completely avoided.

I. Common Problems and Analyses of Wall-Mounted Ultrasonic Gas Meters are as follows:

1. No LCD Display

Causes: Improper battery installation, low battery charge, corroded battery spring, or water ingress into the meter.

Solution: Reinstall the battery, replace it with a new one, or use sandpaper or a blade to remove any stains. Ensure the meter is in a dry environment and avoid water ingress during cleaning.

2. Gas Volume Not Accumulating

Causes: Failed to synchronize settlement and recharge information, inconsistency between recharge information and device information in the meter, the sum of the recharge amount and the remaining gas volume in the meter exceeds the maximum cumulative amount set by the system, or low battery charge. Solution: Press and hold the button to enable simultaneous communication of settlement and recharge information. Check the correct recharge recipient. When the combined remaining gas level in the meter and the gas purchased for this recharge is less than the system setting, contact the local gas supplier and replace the battery.

3. Valve Won't Open

Cause: Low battery charge. Alternatively, the remaining gas level in the meter may be less than the system shutoff level.

Solution: Replace the battery, purchase gas from the gas company promptly, and enter it into the meter.
